What is ooober?
ooober is a global platform where buyers and sellers come together.

-Buyers
ooober is a marketplace where buyers can browse through a range of stores, where they can interact with their favorite bands and artists and download their music and graphics in form of ringtones and wallpapers.

-Sellers
ooober is a marketing tool for bands and artists through which they can create their own mobile content stores. They can set up their own text campaigns to promote their music and make money by selling their music.

What kind of content is allowed at ooober?
Currently, we are providing access to Ringtones, Wallpapers and Pictures.

Do I need an Internet enabled phone?
Yes, in order to download content you will need an Internet-enabled phone that is capable of receiving SMS messages.

How do I pay for the content I purchase?
We offer mobile based ordering and billing in United States. We will be adding more countries soon to this list. If you are in a country where we are currently unable to provide mobile based ordering and billing, you can purchase content through Credit Card or your Pay Pal account.

When do I receive content?
As soon as your payment is cleared, ooober will send a text message to your phone. You will initiate the download process by accessing the link provided in the text message. Once downloaded, follow your mobile device manufacturer's instructions to save the content.

How much am I charged?
Just like in real life, you are told upfront by the seller what the prices are. Look around, compare prices and buy!

What if I don’t get a content I paid for?
If you are a registered member and didn't receive an item you paid for due to any reason, your information is stored and you can try and download the content again free of charge.

There are many formats, which one do I want to purchase?
Our internal search engine presents the user with only the data that is compatible with his/her phone. Upon registration you will have given us enough information so that we will be able to make available the formats that are compatible with your mobile phone.

Can I add multiple devices to my account?
Yes as many as you like! You can add multiple mobile devices to your existing ooober account in the Profile page. The first device you add to ooober during registration will be considered as the primary device. When one or more devices are added, you will be given an option to make the added device the primary device at any point in time. The content search is based on the primary device you set.

Which devices are compatible?
We provide services to a wide variety of cell phone models. However as the mobile market is totally open, there is a new model almost every day, it is possible that some cell phones are not in our database. If you are unable to find your mobile manufacturer and model, email us at support@ooober.com with “Model Not Found” as the Subject.

What is a Store?
A store at ooober is a space which carries mobile merchandise targeted at specific audiences. An efficient marketing tool, it will give you a chance to spread your wings further and reach out to more people. As a Seller, you can take advantage of the numerous features ooober provides you for marketing your content. An ooober store will give you:

• Flexible account options to suit your needs
• A chance to reach global marketplace with your digital merchandise
• A backend converter which converts any user content to into mobile compatible content

How can I promote my store?
Advertise, Advertise, Advertise! Your store will have a personalized URL address making it even easier for potential buyer to locate it. Buyers will be drawn to your store for the content, but you can also help attract customers by emailing friends, and old fashioned word of mouth.
Of course, ooober does much of the upfront work helping to drive traffic to the web site. We also provide you with promotional tools that you can use to drive more traffic to your site.

How can I upload multiple items at a time?
You can upload content by following these simple steps:

• Go to My ooober
• Click on Manage Store
• Click on Manage Content
• Click on Upload Content
• Browse for the file you wish to upload
• Type the Title of Content
• Provide the Author’s name
• Provide a short description about the content
• Read Copyright Acceptance
• Click Submit
• Select Appropriate Category
• Provide the Selling price (you will be provided with an average price to help you decide the price for your content)
Now all you have to do is put your content “On Display” in the marketplace.

Why is my content not accessible to anyone but myself?
You have probably not put your content “On Display.” It will show under “Inventory” under My Content and will inaccessible to anyone until you put it “On Display.”

What is the difference between “Inventory” and “On Display”?
An item will be stored in “Inventory” till you put the item “On Display” or delete it. While the content is in “Inventory” it will not be accessible to users.
“On Display”, as the phrase suggests, is when your item is viewable and can be bought by users. An item will be moved from “Inventory” to “On Display” only after it has been approved by our Content Administrator.

In which format should I upload my content?
Following are the various format options you have for uploading images and ring tones:
Images: You can upload GIF, JPG, BMP and animated GIF.
Ringtones: ooober supports following ring tone formats:
MP3,WAV,MID,MMF,XMF,MIDI,SP-MIDI,SMAF,RTX,RTTTL,OTT,IMY.
You just have to upload any of these files; ooober makes your life easier by automatically transforming content to multiple formats to cater different devices. To know more about transformation, refer to this table:

Why is my store not searchable in the marketplace?
Your store will be searchable by users in the marketplace only after you have five items (wallpapers or ringtones) on display in your store.


How much money do I make when people purchase my content?

Your share of the revenue depends on the price of the content sold and the type of store you own. Please refer to the following chart:

When do I get paid?
As soon as your balance reaches $75, the cash-out link gets enabled in the Account Transactions page. Click on that link to demand a cash-out.

Ringtones/Wallpapers available in following price points: $0.00, $0.99, $1.50, $1.99, $2.50, $2.99, $3.99, $4.99. This website does not offer any subscription plans.
